FOUNTAIN
BREATH I
also call this the 'Diamond Breath." and it is the subject of an essay and
a seminar, entitled: "A Single Breath." After working closely with
thousands of people, I have come to realize that this particular breathing
technique is basic to all the other exercises. In order to obtain the greatest
benefits from breath therapy, it's best to master this lesson. It brings
together all of the various techniques and practices, and so it's the best place
to start. In learning this breath, we need to think in terms of shape and
quality. First, the shape: FOUNTAIN The
inhale begins as a slow, thin stream, barely perceptible. As in comes in, it
expands, it accelerates, it gets louder. It reaches a peak and then it turns
into the exhale. DIAMOND
