21 Day Breathing – Day 7

In this lesson, Dan Brulé introduces the concept of three distinct breathing spaces—the lower space (from the belly button to the perineum), the middle space (from the belly button to the nipple line), and the upper space (from the nipple line to the chin). Dan teaches how to isolate and breathe into each space separately, as well as in combination. He emphasizes mastering the full yogic breath, which involves filling each breathing space in sequence from the bottom up, similar to filling a glass of water. During the exhale, the breath is released from the upper space down through the middle and finally the lower space, creating a wave-like effect. Dan encourages you to play with breathing into each space and practice the full yogic breath regularly for optimal results.
