I am writing to you from Moscow. Doing my part to ease tensions between our two countries… a bit of international relations! It’s always great to be here. I just arrived from Lithuania where we did a public seminar and our annual summer camp. We also completed the One Year Practitioner Certification Training. Congratulations to our graduates: Donaldas, Šarūnė, Diana, Jūratė, Rasa Rita, Ieva, and Agnė!

Thank you to everyone who spent a week with us in Trakai at the camp, and thank you to all the people who took part in the seminar at the ballet school! And special thank you to Loreta for organizing everything!

I am very excited about traveling to Australia for the first time!

We will teach breathwork techniques for maintaining high levels of energy.

We will be training people in the helping, healing and coaching professions.

We will explore breathwork as a way to heal birth trauma and infancy patterns.

We will practice breathwork exercises and techniques for weight loss.

We will explore cutting edge breathwork techniques for peak performers, martial artists, law-enforcement officers, first responders, and corporate executives.

October 24 - Nov 2: Back to the Caribbean!

I will be returning to Martinique to continue the Breathworker Certification Program and to offer a weekend program for the general public.

Welcome to the “Island of Flowers.”

The program begins on Tuesday the 24th at 7pm with a Public Introductory Seminar at Bibliothèque Schoelcher Cultural Center.

The training program will be held at Imperatrice Village.
The meeting room is open and spacious, and lodging is available on site.

The Baja Bio Sana Reboot Camp & Breathwork Immersion Training

Announcing 3 Week-Long Programs and a 21 Day Breathworker Retreat:

All the great masters, saints, and prophets went into the desert to find inspiration.

Welcome to our Oasis in the Desert!

only 6 people each week!

These three 7-Day Breathwork Immersion Programs will include 5 days of focused training, including one-on-one, paired, and group breathwork sessions with Dan and other trainers.

The program will also include two free days for touring, sightseeing, community activities, and personal time. We will make use of the healing power of nature, and you will be invited to take part in Baja Bio Sana community events and projects.

Tuition for these all-inclusive one-week training programs is $4500 USD. This includes food, camping accommodations, and training. (We are offering big discounts for early registration.)

We will also offer a Special 21-Day Training/Retreat from Feb 1-21 for a maximum of 6 people. Three of those spots will be offered to current Practitioners or current Practitioner Candidates willing to assist in the program and work as support staff in partial exchange for the training.

Would you like to be a Certified Breathwork Practitioner?

Enrollment in the Program is open and ongoing. You are welcome to join this One Year Training at any time. Your graduation will be one year from the month that you enroll.

You can take this Online Training even if you have no intention of being a Professional Breathing Coach or Breathwork Practitioner.

We have created this online program for people who are not able to attend the usual four-week training format. And we are using the Class of 2017 to create a new Breath Mastery Curriculum and Breathworker Training Manual.

In addition to the online training, certification requires that you participate in a minimum of one 7-Day Practicum in order to get live, hands-on breathwork coaching/training with Dan.

ON BREATH AND BREATHING

Take a Deep Breath. It’s Back to School Time!

Hey kids! Hey teachers! Are you feeling a bit nervous about the start of a new school year? That’s a good, healthy thing, you know! It is perfectly normal to feel anxious when facing a challenge or beginning a new adventure.

The nervousness we all feel at times like these is simply the awakening of our creative energy. It’s fuel for life. If we resist it, we feel fear, but if we welcome it, we feel excitement! You can learn to channel your life force in ways that not only help you to overcome fear and anxiety but assist in meeting and mastering any challenge.

The secret is to practice conscious breathing combined with deliberate relaxation, and positive imagery. Elite warriors do it, Olympic athletes do it, yogi masters do it, great artists and peak performers in every field do it, and so can you! Breathe slowly into your lower chest and belly. While you do, imagine beautiful scenes and wonderful feelings, like joy and success. Consciously open and expand, and deliberately relax and let go with every breath.

Practice “Triangle Breathing”

Breathe in for a count of four; breathe out for a count of four; then pause for a count of four. Count to four on the inhale, count to four on the exhale, and then count to four before breathing in again.

Inhale 1… 2… 3… 4… Exhale 1… 2… 3… 4… Pause 1… 2… 3… 4….

Practice this while waiting for the bus or when standing in the lunch line. Use it before an exam. Do it when negative thinking begins to cloud your mind or make your body tense. In this way, you’ll gather all that nervous energy and channel it in a very healthy and productive way.

Remember the ancient Chinese proverb: “ Where consciousness goes, energy flows .”

Imagine breathing into your brain to calm and clear your mind and to fuel your thinking before a test. Breathe into your legs to give them energy before you run, jump, or play. Breathe into your hands before art class. Breathe in rhythm to your footsteps when climbing stairs, or when walking to and from class.

Take a long slow breath in through your nose when you want to commit something to memory: a geographical map, an historical date, a chemical or mathematical formula, or a musical phrase. This simple practice has been proven to improve recall.

Give yourself energizing and relaxing breaths from time to time throughout the day, because as Mark Divine, my friend and Navy Seal Commander, says: “It’s easier to keep up than it is to catch up!”

One last tip: Place your hands on your chest for a few minutes every day and breathe positive, loving energy into your heart. Do this to honor yourself for being the best you can be, and as a way to generate gratitude for every beautiful challenge life brings you!
