The use of positive affirmations is a very important part of healing and growth, and an important part of Breathwork training and the Breathwork process. Good Breathworkers are good at creating positive affirmations for themselves and their clients. And we encourage our clients to get good at creating affirmations for themselves and others.

Affirmations are meant to neutralize, dissolve, replace, or cancel any negative or limiting thoughts that we have taken on about ourselves, life, others and the world. Affirmations are like seeds that we plant in our consciousness to soothe, strengthen and uplift ourselves—in mind, body and spirit.

Through life, and especially in breathwork, it’s important to remember that we are safe and loved, that we are creative and capable, and that everything we need to live our best life is within us.

Affirmations become much more effective and powerful when we combine them with the practice of Conscious Connected Breathing (The Rebirthing Technique). Breathing affirmations into every cell of our body is an art and a life skill that is well worth mastering.

Here are some affirmations to play with. Begin by getting your breath moving in a conscious connected continuous circular rhythm, then write and repeat the affirmations you know you need to hear. Use this list to create your own affirmations and share them with other practitioners and your clients.

Remember that Conscious Breathing helps us not only to take in the ideas, but also the energy of them deep into our being. So, make sure that you are using your breath consciously when doing affirmations! Conscious Breathing is the secret power that brings the affirmations alive in you.

Start with these and use them to get some ideas to create even better ones for yourself and your clients!

I love and approve of myself.

I deeply appreciate and accept myself.

I trust my inner wisdom and intuition.

It is easy for me to give love to others.

It is easy for me to receive love from others.

I practice understanding and compassion.

I give myself permission to do what I love.

I deserve the very best that life has to offer.

I am a good person.

I do my best and my best is always good enough.

I believe in my ability to change the world with the work that I do.

My body heals itself naturally and quickly.

I love and accept my body as it is and as it changes.

I treat my body like a sacred temple.

I feel safe, secure, and confident in my body.

Today will be a gorgeous day to remember.

My thoughts are my reality, so I think up a bright new day.

I fill my day with hope and face it with joy.

I trust the decisions I make.

I trust the Divine guidance I am receiving.

I am true to my personal vision.

I embrace the rhythm and the flow of my own heart.

All that I need comes to me at the right time and place in this life.

I am deeply fulfilled with who I am.

I am willing to take the risks necessary to live my life openly and honestly.

I fill my mind with positive, nurturing and healing thoughts.

I acknowledge my feelings as a necessary part of my healing process.

I know when it is time to let go, and I do.

Everything happens in perfect Divine Order.

I have faith in myself and my future.

I am a unique miracle.

I am a necessary and important part of the Divine plan.

I am guided by God (Love, Divine Intelligence, Buddha, Allah, Spirit, etc.).

I appreciate and celebrate each and every moment.

I gratefully say YES to good, YES to life, and Yes to my greatness.

I am getting better and better and better for the rest of my life.

Good luck in your practice and many blessing on your path!
