Most people think of intention as something you set at the beginning of a breathing session. “What do I want?” “What am I working on?” “What do I want to heal, change, release, create, or experience?” We form the intention, say it to ourselves, and then begin breathing. But there is a much more powerful way to work with intention.
Instead of setting an intention once and then forgetting about it, we can breathe the intention. We can use every conscious breath to form it, energize it, deepen it, release what stands in its way, and experience its fulfillment. Think of each breath as a prayer. The inhale forms the prayer. The exhale receives the answer. And then we do it again. And again. And again.
